On Friday, during the full day, video courses will be given on two screens.

The programme of the day will be divided into two parts:

Morning The da Vinci Prostatectomy step-to-step, the perspective of different experts
Afternoon - Difficult indications & trouble shooting

- Complications

- Special videos to discuss

- Theoretical update lectures

After the Class, a special Belgian dinner will be served in the gorgeous city centre of Brussels.

08:00 – 10:00: Session 1: The technique step-to-step
  1. Installation of patient, padding and tricks
  2. Trocar placement
  3. Opening peritoneum & access to Retzius
  4. Opening of endopelvic fascia
  5. Bladder neck (ultrasound guidance)
  6. Seminal vesicles
  7. Opening of Denonvilliers

10:00 – 10:30: Coffee break

10:30- 12:30: Session 1 (continued): The technique step-to-step

  1. Base of prostate and lateral dissection with and without nerve-sparing
  2. Apex of prostate
  3. Rocco stitch
  4. Anastomosis
  5. Extraction of specimen
  6. Lymphadenectomy
  7. Post-operative care

12:30 – 13:30 Lunch

13:30 – 15:30: Session 2: Difficult situations: how to deal with it

  1. Trocar placement
